GoPaint & GoBrush

GoPaint and GoBrush are builder tools that help you create terrain and details faster directly in-game.

Where you can use it

✅ Everywhere in Creative Anarchy Gamemode
✅ In Own Worlds Gamemode except /play mode (use /build mode to use it) where you are trusted / you have build permission
✅ In Plot World on own plots or there where you are added
✅ In Claim World in own or trusted claims

🎨 GoPaint

GoPaint is a painting tool that lets you “paint” blocks in the world using different brush types and modes. It’s great for organics, gradients, palette work, terrain touch-ups, and structure detailing.

🪶 Tool

GoPaint uses a Feather by default:

  • Left-click with the Feather → opens the GoPaint menu
  • Right-click with the Feather → uses the brush in the direction you’re facing

⭐ Useful features

  • Brush types for many styles (sphere/disc/spray/splatter/overlay/gradient, etc.)
  • Surface Mode – paints only the blocks you can actually see (great for clean detailing)
  • Mask Mode – restrict edits to specific blocks/materials
  • Multiple brushes – save/export brushes so you can swap quickly
  • Undo support (via WorldEdit integration)

🧱 Surface modes

  • Exposed (recommended): paints blocks that are actually exposed to air (best for terrain + detailing)
  • Visible: only paints blocks in your direct line of sight
tip

If “Surface Mode” feels like it’s missing blocks, switch to Exposed mode.

🧩 Extra brush (Underlay)

Underlay paints only blocks that have blocks above them - useful for terrain layers without touching the surface details.

⌨️ Quick commands

  • /gp menu - open menu
  • /gp brush <brush> - select brush type
  • /gp size <size> - change brush size
  • /gp wand - get the tool item
  • /gp toggle - enable/disable GoPaint
  • /gp undo [number] - undo recent actions (integrates with //undo)
tip

Use Surface Mode for quick detailing without accidentally painting hidden blocks behind your build.

🏔️ GoBrush

GoBrush is a heightmap terraforming tool made for building mountains, cliffs, and large terrain quickly. It uses premade (or custom) heightmaps to pull/push terrain in a controlled way.

🔥 Tool

GoBrush uses Flint by default:

  • Left-click with Flint → opens the GoBrush menu
  • Right-click with Flint → places/applies the heightmap

⭐ Useful features

  • Heightmap brushes (premade + custom)
  • Pull / Push modes (raise or lower terrain)
  • Flat Mode – sets the clicked point as the max height and brings surrounding terrain up
  • 3D Mode – pulls/pushes based on the direction you’re facing (directional shaping)
  • Auto Rotation – rotates the heightmap based on your facing direction
  • Mask support – choose which blocks are affected
  • Undo support (via WorldEdit integration)

⌨️ Quick commands

  • /gb menu - open menu
  • /gb brush <name> - choose a heightmap brush
  • /gb size <size> - change brush size
  • /gb intensity <number> - how strong the pull/push is
  • /gb toggle - enable/disable GoBrush
  • /gb undo [number] - undo recent actions (integrates with //undo)
warning

Start with small size and low intensity. Large heightmaps can reshape huge areas in one click.
