Armor Stands

Armor stands can be posed for custom decorations, statues, displays, and NPC-like scenes. We recommend combining them with Custom heads. for extra detail.

Where you can use it

✅ Everywhere in Creative Anarchy Gamemode
✅ In Own Worlds Gamemode except /play mode (use /build mode to use it) where you are trusted / you have build permission
✅ In Plot World on own plots or there where you are added
✅ In Claim World in own or trusted claims

✅ How to start editing

You have two options:

  • Look at an armor stand and run: /armorstand
  • Or Shift + Right-Click the armor stand to open the editor

If you want to keep looking at the armor stand while editing, you can use:

  • /armorstand last - re-opens the editor for the last armor stand you edited
note

You can’t move an armor stand into areas where you don’t have build permission. Also, you can’t edit an armor stand that someone else is editing at the same time.

🛠️ What you can do (in the GUI)

The editor is GUI-based and mostly self-explanatory. You can:

  • Change equipment (including offhand)
  • Rotate the base
  • Pose body parts:
    • Head direction
    • Body/torso
    • Both arms and both legs
  • Move the armor stand for more compact placements
  • Toggle options:
    • Base plate on/off
    • Size (normal/small)
    • Visibility on/off
    • Gravity on/off (lets you raise/lower the stand)
    • Arms on/off
    • Name on/off
    • Glow on/off
    • Invulnerable on/off (prevents damage)
    • Interactable on/off (prevents interactions and disables opening the GUI by shift-click)

🖱️ Editing controls (fast)

When adjusting body parts, you typically click the relevant control in the GUI with:

  • Left / Right click to adjust in different directions
  • Hold Shift to adjust 10× faster
warning

Armor stands are entities - too many in one area can cause lag. Keep large “crowd scenes” spread out and use them sparingly in heavy builds.

tip

For tiny details on stands (props, faces, items), use Custom heads.
