Voice Chat
We use the Simple Voice Chat mod to allow proximity voice chat and group calls directly inside Minecraft.
To use this feature, you must install the mod on your computer. If you do not have it installed, you can still play on the server, but you will not be able to hear or speak to others.
📥 Installation Guide
1. Choose Your Mod Loader
First, ensure you have a mod loader installed for your Minecraft client. If you aren't sure which one you use, Fabric is generally recommended for the best performance.

2. Install the Mod
- Download the Simple Voice Chat
.jarfile from the links above.- Make sure to select the correct Minecraft version matching your launched game!
- Open your Minecraft installation folder.
- Place the downloaded
.jarfile into your/modsfolder. - Restart your Minecraft client.

🎙️ Setup & Configuration
Once you have joined the server with the mod installed, you can access the voice chat menu.
Onboarding
Press the V key on your keyboard to open the Voice Chat Settings GUI.
- If this is your first time, follow the onboarding process to select your microphone and speaker.
- You can test your microphone to ensure it is working correctly.
Customization
You can tweak your experience in the settings menu (V):
- Voice Activation vs. Push-to-Talk: Choose how you want to broadcast your voice.
- Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume of other players.
- Microphone Amplification: Boost your mic if you are too quiet.

👥 Groups & Commands
While proximity chat works automatically when you are near players, you can also create Groups to talk over long distances.
Useful Commands
/voicechat invite <PLAYERNAME>- Invites a player to your current group.
/voicechat join <GROUP-NAME>- Connects you to an existing group with that specific name.
- Note: This only works if the name is unique.
/voicechat join <GROUP-ID>- Connects you to a group via ID. (Usually automatic when accepting an invite).
/voicechat leave- Disconnects you from your current group and returns you to proximity chat.

🛠️ Troubleshooting & Support
If your voice chat isn't working (e.g., you see a "Not Connected" icon or can't hear anyone):
