Inventory Backups & Restore

Inventory backups let you recover your inventory if you mess something up or want to go back to an older loadout.
Backups are created automatically by the server and you can also create your own manual backup.

This is mainly a Creative feature - use it freely to experiment with builds, tools, and loadouts.

Where you can use it

✅ Everywhere in Creative Anarchy Gamemode
✅ In Own Worlds Gamemode except /play mode (use /build mode to use it) where you are trusted / you have build permission
✅ Everywhere in Plot World
✅ Everywhere in Claim World

⌨️ Commands

Main command: /invbackup
Alias: /inventorybackup

Both commands support the same subcommands:

💾 Save a manual backup

/invbackup save
Creates a manual backup of your current inventory.

🗂️ View & restore backups

/invbackup view
Opens the backup menu where you can browse your saved inventories and restore one of them.

tip

If you forget the syntax, just type /invbackup without arguments and it will show the usage.

🧾 Limits & retention

To keep storage healthy, backups are limited and cleaned up automatically:

• Backups are kept for: 14 days
• Automatic backups: every 15 minutes
• Backup categories enabled: ender chest, death, join, quit, world change, gamemode change, container close
• Maximum backups per category (per player):
  • Ender chest: 10
  • Death: 15
  • Join: 10
  • Quit: 10
  • World change: 20
  • Gamemode change: 20
  • Container close: 30
  • Manual backups: 30
  • Automatic backups: 20
• Total backups per player (all categories combined): 200

If you hit the limit, they will be replaced automatically with the new ones.
